Carolina Hills Classic

The 3rd Annual Carolina Hills Classic Bike Tour takes place May 20–23, 2027. This 4-day boutique road cycling adventure covers approximately 250 miles across the Blue Ridge Mountains and Upstate region, taking riders on a point-to-point journey from Asheville, North Carolina, to Greenville, South Carolina. Open to road cyclists and e-bike riders of all skill levels, the tour features fully appointed amenities including nightly hotel accommodations, catered meals, luggage transfers, SAG vehicle support, and route stops along iconic landmarks like the Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Pisgah National Forest.

Produced by the Arthritis Foundation as part of its Arthritis Foundation Cycling Experience (AFCE) series, the event serves as a major fundraiser to support research, advocacy, and community programs for people living with arthritis. Participants commit to raising or self-funding a $4,000 minimum threshold to secure entry into the fully supported tour. The event combines challenging Appalachian climbs, quiet farm roads, and vibrant host cities into a community-focused ride that highlights Southern hospitality while advancing a vital charitable mission.
